The Restaurant at Ponte Winery
The Restaurant at Ponte Winery is an outdoor restaurant that is surrounded by amazing views of the vineyards and gardens. All of the ingredients, even the meats are locally sourced, hormone-free, and a mixture of wild-caught or farmed fish are used at The Restaurant at Ponte Winery. In fact, the dishes here are so amazing that this restaurant has made the Top 100 Restaurants for Al Fresco Dining in the United States, as rated by TripAdvisor and OpenTable. This restaurant is opened for lunch daily and dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Pinnacle at Falkner Winery
Pinnacle has both indoor and outdoor seating available but the biggest selling point besides the food could be the fact that it is located on a 1,500-foot hilltop. At the Pinnacle, you’ll find Mediterranean style lunch in an elegant setting. Served up daily with your meal is a stunning view that will surely take your breath away. Another benefit of having a meal at a restaurant like Pinnacle is that the food and wine pairings are perfectly matched making for an even better tasting meal.
Creekside Grill is part of Wilson Creek Winery and it sits right next to the vines that have provided us with Cabernet for over 30 years. Every dish at Creekside Grill has been inspired by the amazing wines that Wilson Creek Winery has been making for decades. Foods like salads, sandwiches, and seasonal specials are all available but the most popular meal is Sunday brunch.
The Goat & Vine
For an honest, healthy meal that is filled with integrity, you can head over to The Goat & Vine. Just about every aspect of the food you are served at The Goat & Vine is freshly made in-house. Even the bread, pizza dough, sauces, dressings, and proteins are made from scratch. Pizza is the specialty at The Goat & Vine and that means there are so many different options to explore and you can be in control of every bit of it. The Goat & Vine is open daily for lunch and dinner and they do not take reservations.
E.A.T. Marketplace is a restaurant you go to if you want to have an integrity-filled meal. Marketplace does everything it can to make sure ingredients are free of GMOs, antibiotics, hormones, and pesticides. In fact, locals know this restaurant as the place to go for fresh, healthy, and locally sourced ingredients that are considered, “hyper fresh.” Not to mention, Marketplace is ready to help with dietary restrictions like carnivores, vegetarians, vegan, gluten-free, and paleo eaters. Marketplace is open daily for both lunch and dinner.
There are many restaurants in Temecula, but only one Trattoria Toscana. Chef Pietro, head chef at Trattoria Toscana, carefully hand picks fresh and local ingredients daily. Combined with the sourced imports from Italy, these ingredients come together in an amazing way. Everything is as fresh as possible, chef Pietro even sun drys his own tomatoes using organic tomatoes and the southern California sun. Trattoria Toscana is open daily for lunch and dinner except for Tuesdays.
Cork|Fire Kitchen can be found in the canyon on the south side of town at the Temecula Creek Inn. As far as restaurants in Temecula go, Cork has definitely earned its spot on this list. The rustic elegance of the restaurant is amazing and complemented by the farm-to-table dining. While the seating is inside, the floor-to-ceiling windows provide amazing views. Cork is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner which means you have plenty of opportunities to give it a try.
Bluewater Grill is where you go if you’re looking for the best seafood restaurants in Temecula. In fact, the restaurant has its own fishing boat that focuses on catching swordfish. Then, they serve up the fresh swordfish right to your table. Any other fish that is served up at Bluewater Grill comes from shipping boats in San Diego. There are more than 40 varieties of seafood annually including swordfish, oysters, chowders, and of course, local wines that are paired with your meal. This spot is open daily for lunch and dinner.
Garage Brewing Company
Garage Brewing Company is ready to pour you a glass of their handcrafted beers which are award winners. But to go along with your beer, you can order some amazing pizza. The pizza dough is made fresh daily with Italian milled double 00 flour and then fermented for two days. After that, the possibilities of toppings and combinations are endless. While you will want to fill up on pizza and beer, save room for dessert because Garage Brewing Company also has dessert pizza. This restaurant is opened Wednesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner.
Great Harvest Bread Company
People come to Great Harvest Bread Company for the freshly made bread that is done from scratch in-house. That bread is then used to make sandwiches using premium meats, gourmet spreads, and fresh, locally-sourced veggies. A tip would be to come as early as possible as you will want the freshest options available. Great Harvest Bread Company is open Monday through Saturday.
