They will also be launching all-new whitewater rafting and boat rental options. With this relaunch, Grand Canyon Resort Corporation has put new health and safety standards in place to protect guests and team members, including temperature checks and social distancing.

Relaunched on June 8, Grand Canyon Resort Corporation will be welcoming back guests to experience whitewater rafting and brand new experiences.

Grand Canyon Resort Corporation announced that it would reopen on June 1 with a new health and safety plan. With this plan set in motion, guests can now experience whitewater rafting on the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon. They will also be launching new whitewater rafting equipment and boat rental options.

Guests will be able to experience exciting rapids, hiking at Travertine Cavern Falls, local wildlife viewing, meals along the banks of the river, the option to take an exhilarating helicopter ride from the river up to the west side, as well we learn about the Hualapai Tribe and its connection to the area and the Colorado River.

Hualapai River Runners is relaunching one-, two-, and four-day whitewater rafting tours, as well as launching a brand-new Five-Day Whitewater Paddle Rafting Trip where guests will experience the excitement of the Colorado River’s rapids and all the beauty the canyon has to offer. The new tour covers 54 miles of the Colorado River, where guests will camp and eat meals. Camping equipment and food will be provided as part of this tour.

In addition to their relaunch, the company will also launch a never-before-offered rental option, which allows guests to rent packages such as six-, eight- or nine-person raft, as well as a 24-person motorized boat, that includes all rafting equipment, tents, and personal safety devices.
